My Choice Spa Salt in Mango variant

Hello guys…

I’m currently excited for Sinulog Festival this coming January 17-18, 2015. I am looking forward for the street dancing and fireworks display. I’m currently preparing my skin for a radiant and healthier glow cause I’ll be wearing a mini shorts or skirt.. I’ll wear comfortable clothing so I can enjoy walking, walking and walking through the streets where the Sinulog Festival is… To achieve a great skin, I started using a scrub to exfoliate my skin so dead skin will be removed… I’ve always been a fan of Asian Secrets scrub, this product just came in when I’m finally out of my Asian Secrets scrub.. My Choice Spa Salt in Mango variant – this was included in my BDJ Box - October 2014 with unboxing here.
Product Info:

The texture of the beads is fine; it looks like a salt talaga but colored
It has Vitamin E

I love the faint mango scent

What I don’t like about the products:
Like salts, it is salty so don’t use it near your eyes… it will cause irritation!

Will I repurchase?
Definitely yes… I will use this as an alternate scrub to my Asian Secrets!

Christmas Gifts 2014

Happy New Year guys....

I have been out of blogging for the past holidays... I spent most of my time with my family (my husband and son)... We've been busy with our first Christmas celebration in our own house!!! We celebrated it very simply yet memorable :D

Today, I will be sharing to you the gifts we have prepared for our loved ones -- extended family, god children and friends.. We used to have "Manito Manita" on Christmas eve two years ago when we stayed pa with my husband's family but last Christmas we had something else -- we call it Christmas wish list -- I suggested that instead of having a hard time choosing a gift for each and everyone of us why not we write our own wish list (something we want to receive as Christmas gift) then will pick based on that wish list one by one... even if we know that will receive that item, we still are very excited... we were like children with happy and excited eyes upon opening the gifts...

So here's a run down of the gifts we have given based on their wish list:
Solemate flat shoes for my youngest brother's girlfriend (Shatchie) and a Human sling bag for my youngest brother (Rayan). They really liked the gifts based on their smiles that Christmas eve.

Secosana sling bag for my brother's girlfriend (Jill) and Sandugo slippers for my brother (Anthony) next to me -- as I am the eldest and only girl among my siblings.

Flip flops for my mother (in pink because it's her favorite color and black to pair with any outfit) and a small head light (with LED light and battery operated)  for my father.

Converse T-shirts for my father in law and brothers in law...
A mickey and minnie mouse sleep wear for my mother in law...

Gifts for my close friends in the office...
A deluxe pool table set for my godson (Lyle) and a lego airplane for my godson (John-John).
Cute dresses for our goddaughters: Lyca and Carra...
A cute sleeveless pair for our godson: Emmanuel and a polka dots dress for her sister Elijah...

I hope that they were happy with the gifts we have given... I know that these are only simple gifts but what matters is that it was given heartily... I praise God for giving us enough blessings so we can share as well to others especially those we love...

I'm also excited to share what I got last Christmas...
A picture of me with the gifts hehe...
I'm starting with my most favorite gift which I received.. a Parisian bag from my brother -- Anthony and Jill... They really know how to please me hehe
Two pairs of solemate flat shoes -- in times when I'm tamad to wear high heels -- this will be my friendly buddy. Gifts from my mama and papa!!!
A leather belt from my brother -- Rayan and Shatchie.
Aside from the belt -- they also gave me a Hello Kitty lip gloss... my brother Rayan knows that I'm a fan of Hello Kitty stuff...
Another makeup addition to my growing collection.. an Atomy Lipstick from my bestfriend  --Cyka... Thank you Cy.. I love the color!!!
Aside from the Atomy Lipstick -- my bestfriend also gave me a makeup kit... a small yet spacious kit in pink color... Super love this kit, I am currently housing my growing collection here.
Here's a FOTD picture of mine last December 21, 2014 when we had our company Christmas party celebration. I opted for a simple makeup but I use false lashes here, my first time to use one hehe... I kinda enjoyed wearing them... Will try another set of lashes again very soon!!!
I'm ending my post with another FOTD last January 2, 2015. I cut my hair to a shorter layered haircut... Do you like my new hairstyle??? Me... I liked it haha I look younger here!!!

Thank you to all our loved ones who have given us gifts as well... We are very happy to receive them all....Till our next Christmas...

Till my next post!!!

Carmen Claire: Matte Lipstick in Sky High Stiletto

I am glad and thankful that Typhoon Ruby did not hit Central Visayas directly though the Northern Cebu part is quite devastated. We will continue to pray for those who are suffering now and hopefully recovery is fast, help and support will be overflowing!!!

So today, I will be sharing to you my 3rd matte lipstick - Carmen Claire in Sky High Stiletto. My 1st ever matte lipstick was from Nyx (Soft Matte Lip Cream) in Addis Ababa and Amsterdam...

The Carmen Claire Story:
CarmenClaire is all about awesome beauty products for the non-girly girl. Products that make you look and feel great with minimal effort, no fancy training required. Hand-picked by yours truly, these products are a labor of love, the kind I would gladly use on myself or recommend to my bestest friends.

Makeup that's both quick and easy, to you don't end up late for work (again). Skin care that just plain works, for you, your wallet, Mama Earth, and all her cute critters too. And that's only the beginning.
CarmenClaire cares about you. I built this brand out of a passion for all things beauty, and the power it can hold. I spent my childhood running around my mom's beauty salon, and once I got older, learned how to be a professional makeup artist from one of the world's most renowned brands.

Hungry for more, I became a beauty blogger, all the while juggling everything life threw at me. And one day I realized I had so much more to share than tutorials, reviews, and makeovers. Thus, CarmenClaire was born. A place where real solutions for every girl's beauty problems can be found. Because I'm a girl just like you, who sometimes just can't stand the sight of her dark circles, and saves her red lipstick for the most special of occasions.
Carmen Claire says:
Ultra-modern and luxuriously smooth, these lipsticks are long-lasting and pack a powerful punch in the color department. Apply, blot, and apply again for chic matte lips, all day long...
I got the Carmen Claire Matte Lipstick in Sky High Stiletto -- a new shade which is describes as the ultimate statement color, the pink color that every girl will love... Made in USA, cruelty-free and with a price of P305.00 per 4g tube.
Available in 9 other shades:
Sanguinello - named after Italy's famous blood oranges, a bright orangey-red
Terracotta Warrior - just as the name suggests, a warm terracotta
Glass of Pinot - like a great wine, both bold and oh-so-sophisticated
New shades:
So You! - Slight peachy nude
Freshly Squeezed - Bright tangerine
Raindrops on Roses - Deep rose
1-2-Punch - Watermelon pink
Shirley Temple - perfect plum

Swatched on my lips...
What I like about the product:
Very pigmented
Staying power is above average
I like that it has unique shade names
Has a really matte finish
Non-iritating because it is made from natural ingredients which are safe to use
Doesn't flake on my lips
Non-scented
Sleek packaging
Locally available
Price is affordable
Offers free shipping for P1,000.00 up orders

What I don't like about the product:
Doesn't glide on smoothly on the lips during application but with the use of lip balm underneath carry lang!!!

Where to buy?
Online store here

Will I repurchase?
Yes but a different shade and will recommend to others for them to try...
Finished look with Sky High Stiletto Matte Lipstick...
