I am inspired and happy! so....
Today, I will share to you my baby's milestones ",). As a first time mom, I had this passion of taking pictures and collecting items connected to my first born. My husband and I made sure that we celebrate his monthly birthdays until he reached one year old.
Before I go on with the photos, let me share to you that I gave birth at 26 and my baby was born via Caesarian Section last September 10, 2012 at around 8 pm and the rest are history hehe...
*** Lots of photos to follow... photos we will treasure forever!!!
Our baby Jamir at one week old. This is my husband's favorite photo.
Baby Jamir at one month old. He is still skinny but is starting to gain weight.
Baby Jamir at two months old. He is gaining more weight and in this month he started to see objects and people more clearly.
This is his Muslim style hammock. It is made of a Steel Spreader Bar with Spring and Malong ( a multi-colored cotton cloth used as a garment by numerous tribes in Southern part of the Philippines). It is very convenient to use and can be hang anywhere you like. Thankful to his Lolo Lar and Lola Nie for buying it in Zamboanga, when they visited my mother's relatives in time before I gave birth.
Baby Jamir at three months old. He is growing bigger and becoming more aware every day. On this stage, he knows how to turn his head and smile at us when he hear our voices.
This picture is taken December 25, 2012 (midnight), our first Christmas together and the best Christmas ever!!! Isn't he adorable???
Baby Jamir at four months old. He has now good head control while sitting supported and vision has sharpened. He is now starting to eat solid foods like Cerelac and porridge "lugaw".
He loves to express himself by putting his finger in his mouth. He's becoming more dexterous.
One of my favorite photo of my baby Jamir, he's super cute and looks like an anime.
Baby Jamir at six months old. He's half way to his journey to one year old. Now he's starting to sit up alone and his reflexes are more enhanced.
Picture is taken on his first beach swimming adventure. He liked the windy atmosphere but not the sea water hehe.
Baby Jamir at seven months old. He was blessed with a longer straight black hair like me.
He crawls and moves a lot in one area to another. He's now cruising (pulling to stand and then moving around while holding on) on his crib from time to time.
Baby Jamir at eight months old. Finally, he met his Uncle Anton, who just came back to Cebu since he was assigned in Subic Bay for almost a year. The first word that came out to his mouth was "Papa".
Picture is taken in the Province of Bohol when we attended a friend's wedding.
Baby Jamir at nine months old. He can stand on his own now unsupported and his mobility is excellent.
During one of the days when we feel eating at the nearest fast food. He likes fries so much!
Baby Jamir at ten months old. He celebrated with my mom at our favorite barbeque restaurant. Super amazed with the lighted candle. He is now standing and taking a few hesitant but independent steps. Very active and over sensitive to sounds, taste and touch.
He's fond of making faces... His beautiful eyes daw
Baby Jamir at eleven months old. He's blowing his own birthday candles slowly.
Another favorite photo taken in one of our beach outing with fellow co-employees.
And finally he is one year old. Picture is taken on his birthday with a big smile. At this stage, he's more interested in so many things. His language skills is progressing and he improves his hand and finger coordination, but skills are still immature, so they fumble and drop objects frequently.
Every child's development is unique and complex. The development is also greatly influenced by factors in his environment and the experiences he has.
My little Jamir has achieved so much within a year!!!
At two years old: he has complete set of teeth, mobility is at its peak (he walks and runs a lot when given a chance to stay outside), he dances when he hears the latest dance music but he's all time favorite is Billy-Vhong dance (Showtime Noon time show), he sings but just a little, he eat all kinds of food, he drinks milk a lot. He talks so much and ask anything, he's smitten by any round objects that is moving and spinning like balls and tires. He is a fan of helicopters, airplanes, cars, motorcycles and robots. All I can say is that, I am blessed with an adorable son. I hope he becomes a fine man someday....
Being a parent is not easy, your job requires you to be physically, mentally and emotionally present 24/7. It may at times be energy draining but it's all worth it!!! Nothing compares to the feeling and experiences of a parent. We should also remember that our baby is growing so fast and that we should enjoy every moment we spend with them.
Hope you did enjoy my post....till the next one!
