Carmen Claire Shine Patrol Pressed Powder

Hi guys....

I've got another pressed powder review --- Carmen Claire Shine Patrol Pressed Powder in Medium Light. It is made in the U.S., Talc and Paraben free and that no animals were harmed in making this powder. Regular price is at P415.00 per 11.3g product. I adore the product when it arrived inside an elegant gold organza pouch...
What Carmen Claire says about the product:

Keep oil at bay and shine in check.
The ultra-smooth formula absorbs excess oil without looking cakey or flat, while adding just a touch of sheer color. It's talc and paraben free too, so chances of a breakout are minimal. Phew!
The powder is in a black round case with mirror and black sponge applicator. This is my first time to have a black sponge applicator :D
I got the Medium Light shade - a natural beige shade
(photo grabbed at Carmen Claire)
Other shades available are: Porcelain, Medium and Tan
Swatch...
What I like about the product:
- Quality of powder is smooth and fine
- Coverage of powder is sheer to medium so doesn't give you a white cast
- Controls oil and shine in my face
- Staying power is 4-6 hours
- Made of natural ingredients
- Talc and paraben free
- With mirror and applicator
- Price is budget friendly (you get 11.3g of products that would probably last till 5 months)
- Cruelty-free

What I don't like about the product:
- It doesn't have SPF content
- A hard surface on the powder appeared and stayed on top of it permanently I guess, unless the powder is broken :P

Will I repurchase?
Maybe...

4th Wedding Anniversary!!!

Hello...

I will be sharing to you our simple 4th wedding anniversary celebration. How time flies so fast, its been 4 years na pala since the day we've exchange vows. Our 4 years was filled with happy memories, enjoyable and memorable travels, a lot of family bonding and eating and saving for our future especially for our little Jamir...

I can say that I am a very lucky wife to be given a loving and faithful husband whose  priorities are "us" (his family)... I am forever thankful to God that He has given me you to spent for the rest of my life...I am looking forward to 50 years more pa to be with you and our soon to be children, for now little Jamir will have our full attention pa...

Our anniversary landed on a Thursday so we just had a simple dinner with our extended families (my family and my husband's family) but unfortunately some members of the family didn't make it due to work related matters.
So above is our dinner: we just take-out some viands at Orosia Food Park a restaurant near our place that offers Filipino food. We have Pancit Guisado, Pochero Soup, Calamares and Lechon Manok from Sr. Pedro and had cooked our own rice.
These Leona's cupcakes are given by my youngest brother and the Red Ribbon chocolate cake is given by my brother-in-law. Thank you so much for your time and effort to be with us on this special day!!!
The macaroni salad and window cathedral for desserts was made by my mother, thank you Mama....
The perfect scene that night... my gorgeous boys with their smiles!!!
My husband gave me this lovely roses, thank you!!!
Then Saturday night, we had dinner at Lantaw Native Restaurant in Busay. The restaurant is located in Busay Hills, overlooking the spectacular City view at night. When we were there we're chilling because it is so cold and we even put on our jackets!!! They serve a wide array of Filipino food at an average cost.  I wanna go back to this place again....

Here's the view of the restaurant..with a very nice structural design...

Our photos at Lantaw Native Restaurant!!!

Here are our orders: Pancit Canton, Lumpiang Shanghai and Adobong Squid with rice of course and fruit juices in this cute bread spread container turned into glass...
Our family picture taken by one of the staff...
Here's the view of the city lights...

Till our next anniversary date!!!

Haul 0007...

Hi guys...

It's been a while since my last post.. I have been busy with work and family. Today, I'll be sharing to you my recent purchases.
1.) Atomy Lipstick in Ruby Red - P800.00 --- I'm in-love with Atomy Lipsticks, they're creamy, hydrating and color payoff is very good plus it is an organic product.
2.) Maybelline Eyestudio Crayonbrow in Brown - P149.75 --- I guess I've said it before that I'm not that good in doing my brows and that I need more, more practice to perfect the arch. I've been using the Nichido Eyebrow in Brown also since I've learned to define my brows and I'm trying this Maybelline one for a change. Hope this one's good!!!
3.) Ecotools Mini Essentials Set - P530.00 --- these minis are great!!! the best brushes I've ever tried...
4.) Human Nature Strengthening Shampoo in Soothing Aloe - P129.75 --- I like this shampoo because it lessens my hair fall and plus points is that it is organic.
5.) Human Nature Strengthening Conditioner in Soothing Aloe - P144.75 --- This is my current conditioner which also lessens my hair fall and keeps my hair bouncy.
6.) Human Nature Baby Wash - P49.75 --- This is for my son, it can be use as both shampoo and soap... it's very handy.. this wash was referred by his pediatrician when he got rubella (type of measles). The pediatrician wanted me to use the wash for my son because it is a very gentle wash that doesn't irritates the rashes (red spots) and will keep his skin hydrated.
7.) Human Nature Safe Block - P249.75 --- it has SPF15 PA+++ which blocks 93% of skin-burning UVB rays. I initially wanted to buy Nivea or Celeteque sunblocks but if I buy any from them I will have to buy a separate one for my son so I ended up buying Human Nature.. Since it's organic, we can both use it.
8.) It's Human Nature Classic Canvass Tote Bag - P149.75 --- I'll definitely be using this on summer..
I ordered the Human Nature products at their website last February 9, 2015 and I received the products last February 10, 2015... really fast delivery!!!
9.) Loft Maxi dress in orange color - P450.00 --- a preloved dress from a friend's friend :) perfect for summer because it is 100% cotton.
10.) Unbranded Printed Racerback blouse - P350.00 --- a preloved blouse from a friend's friend also, just the perfect fit and it's 100% cotton as well!!!
11.) Acer Iconia One 7 Tablet in Black - P3,749.00 --- I ordered this one from Lazada for my son (to view his educational videos and games) he has been using it and enjoying it so much!!! Lazada offers good products at reasonable prices, you can also avail of monthly installments...

As you can see, I've been using a lot of organic products...from makeup to body and hair care... Organic products offer the safe functionality of those other products but without the use of synthetic chemicals that causes harm to our skin.

Till my next post!!!

Product Empties for the last 5 Months of 2014!!!

Hi guys...

Today, I wanna share to you my Product empties for the last five months of last year... Some are my favorites and some are only used up because it's "sayang" to throw away... So let's start!!

Human Nature 100% Natural Healthy Lotion in Vanilla Delight (50 ml) – I loveeeee this lotion very much… I love how smooth it is when applied and the scent is so irresistible… It leaves my skin very moisturized and does not feel sticky at all. I use this one in the office to keep my skin moisturized...

My Choice Hand and Body Lotion in Mango (100 ml) with review here. This product doesn't really work well with my skin, I needed a more moisturizing lotion…

Beach Hut Max 100++ SPF (50 ml) – this has been our on the go sunblock for the last quarter of year 2014, it gives superb protection against harmful sun rays and does not feel messy and oily when applied.

Ivana Body Mist (100 ml) – a light floral and musky scent, great for everyday use… I love the subtle scent and been using this I guess for 7 years na…
Pond’s  Flawless White Dewy Rose Gel (10 g) with review here. I super love this moisturizer... I love everything about this Rose Gel.. very hydrating and affordable!!

Skinol Facial Deep Cleanser with Cucumber Extract (75 ml) – my all time facial cleanser ever since I was 14 years of age.. tried and tested na!!!

Atomy Toothpaste (50g) - another favorite of mine that gives me a clean, fresh breath. Aside from being affordable... this one is made of natural ingredients and with healing properties... Check out my review here.
Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed Powder in Light Pale (8.017g) - I like this powder, I use this one on setting my BB cream and for retouch. It has a smooth texture and feels light when applied. I don't remember exactly the price but I'm sure that it was P500.00++ when I bought it. The only thing that I don't really like about it is that the compact is big and it will occupy a bigger space on my kit.

L'oreal Professionnel Mythic Oil (45ml) - I'm inlove with this nourishing hair oil.. I am buying the full size of this... my anti-frizz oil!!! Check out my review here...

Gluta-C Alcohol Free Whitening Toner (100 ml) not shown in picture, I've thrown away the bottle – my first bottle, I like how it cleanses my face, the oil control it provides and the moisturizing effect.. It has Glutathione and Vitamin C.

So that's it... till my next post!!!
