Priceless Gifts Part II: Milestones

Hi to all!!!

I am inspired and happy! so....

Today, I will share to you my baby's milestones ",). As a first time mom, I had this passion of taking pictures and collecting items connected to my first born. My husband and I made sure that we celebrate his monthly birthdays until he reached one year old.

Before I go on with the photos, let me share to you that I gave birth at 26 and my baby was born via Caesarian Section last September 10, 2012 at around 8 pm and the rest are history hehe...

*** Lots of photos to follow... photos we will treasure forever!!!

Our baby Jamir at one week old. This is my husband's favorite photo.

Baby Jamir at one month old. He is still skinny but is starting to gain weight.

Baby Jamir at two months old. He is gaining more weight and in this month he started to see objects and people more clearly.

This is his Muslim style hammock. It is made of a Steel Spreader Bar with Spring and Malong ( a multi-colored cotton cloth used as a garment by numerous tribes in Southern part of the Philippines). It is very convenient to use and can be hang anywhere you like. Thankful to his Lolo Lar and Lola Nie for buying it in Zamboanga, when they visited my mother's relatives in time before I gave birth.

Baby Jamir at three months old. He is growing bigger and becoming more aware every day. On this stage, he knows how to turn his head and smile at us when he hear our voices.

This picture is taken December 25, 2012 (midnight), our first Christmas together and the best Christmas ever!!! Isn't he adorable???

Baby Jamir at four months old. He has now good head control while sitting supported and vision has sharpened. He is now starting to eat solid foods like Cerelac and porridge "lugaw".

He loves to express himself by putting his finger in his mouth. He's becoming more dexterous.

Baby Jamir at five months old. He can now sit upright for longer periods of time unsupported. His vision is continuing to improve though not yet the 20/20 vision.

One of my favorite photo of my baby Jamir, he's super cute and looks like an anime.

Baby Jamir at six months old. He's half way to his journey to one year old. Now he's starting to sit up alone and his reflexes are more enhanced.

Picture is taken on his first beach swimming adventure. He liked the windy atmosphere but not the sea water hehe.

Baby Jamir at seven months old. He was blessed with a longer straight black hair like me.

He crawls and moves a lot in one area to another. He's now cruising (pulling to stand and then moving around while holding on) on his crib from time to time.

Baby Jamir at eight months old. Finally, he met his Uncle Anton, who just came back to Cebu since he was assigned in Subic Bay for almost a year. The first word that came out to his mouth was "Papa".

Picture is taken in the Province of Bohol when we attended a friend's wedding.

Baby Jamir at nine months old. He can stand on his own now unsupported and his mobility is excellent.

During one of the days when we feel eating at the nearest fast food. He likes fries so much!

Baby Jamir at ten months old. He celebrated with my mom at our favorite barbeque restaurant. Super amazed with the lighted candle. He is now standing and taking a few hesitant but independent steps. Very active and over sensitive to sounds, taste and touch.

He's fond of making faces... His beautiful eyes daw

Baby Jamir at eleven months old. He's blowing his own birthday candles slowly.

Another favorite photo taken in one of our beach outing with fellow co-employees.

And finally he is one year old. Picture is taken on his birthday with a big smile. At this stage, he's more interested in so many things. His language skills is progressing and he improves his hand and finger coordination, but skills are still immature, so they fumble and drop objects frequently.

Every child's development is unique and complex. The development is also greatly influenced by factors in his environment and the experiences he has.

My little Jamir has achieved so much within a year!!!

At two years old: he has complete set of teeth, mobility is at its peak (he walks and runs a lot when given a chance to stay outside), he dances when he hears the latest dance music but he's all time favorite is Billy-Vhong dance (Showtime Noon time show), he sings but just a little, he eat all kinds of food, he drinks milk a lot. He talks so much and ask anything, he's smitten by any round objects that is moving and spinning like balls and tires. He is a fan of helicopters, airplanes, cars, motorcycles and robots. All I can say is that, I am blessed with an adorable son. I hope he becomes a fine man someday....

Being a parent is not easy, your job requires you to be physically, mentally and emotionally present 24/7. It may at times be energy draining but it's all worth it!!! Nothing compares to the feeling and experiences of a parent. We should also remember that our baby is growing so fast and that we should enjoy every moment we spend with them.

Hope you did enjoy my post....till the next one!

Unboxing - September 2014 BDJ Box

Hi everyone!

I got my September BDJ Box last Tuesday, September 23 and received 13 products, 12 of which are full sizes. That's the reason why the box is bigger and heavier than my August BDJ box.

The box is a bit crumpled and distorted when I opened the LBC package. Perhaps next time they'll be more cautious during transit; I prefer to keep the BDJ boxes because I find them adorable.

 Jam-packed of functional products...

A closer look at all the products :-)

This month's theme is BEAUTY INNOVATIONS - innovations of the products from brands mostly recognized by the public.

This is one of the things I look forward to... stickers!!! and for this month it says: "Seek the beauty in everything you see." Precisely... as they say... beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

Following are the items inside the box:

1.) Ponds Flawless white dewy rose gel - Php 150.00 per 10g and I'm provided with 2x10g full size products. It is a whitening soft gel, with GenActiv and Rose Lumiere. It is resilient yet soft with hydrating ability that easily absorbs into skin and touch softness like a rose petal. Very enticing to try softness like a rose petal, I really wish!!! By the way, it's the first product in gel form formulated by Ponds. For more information, check their website.

2.) Jergens Daily Moisture  - Hydrates & Smoothes at Php 153.00 per 200 ml bottle. Contains
illuminating hydralucence blended with Silk Proteins & Citrus Extracts. Provides a continuous multi-layer of moisture to smooth skin and improve skin‘s tone, texture, and luminosity. Locks in moisture for up to 24 hours and leaves skin with a soft, alluring scent.

3.) Jergens - Ultra Healing Nourishes & Heals at Php 88.00 per 100 ml bottle. With an
illuminating hydralucence blend and Vitamins C, E & B5. Heals dryness at the source by penetrating through 5 layers of the skin‘s surface. Absorbs quickly and locks in moisture for up to 48 hours.

Check out their website to know more about the products.

I've known Jergens ever since I was young. They were one of the brands we frequently buy when it comes to lotion. I'll be trying the Ultra Healing variant which seems promising.

4.) Beach Hut Clear Spray Sunblock - Php 390.00 per 180 ml bottle. With SPF 36 for UVA & UVB Protection, Sweat proof, water proof,  not messy, not greasy, not sticky, no white gunk (it’s invisible) and Hypoallergenic. I love to try it but appreciated it much if it has a longer expiry date so I can use it till summer 2015. For more information, check their website.

5.) Cream Silk Daily Treatment Conditioner - Standout Straight at Php 134.00 per 180 ml. It is
infused with positively charged ingredients that help reduce the extra negative charge brought about by damaged hair so that you get the striking, standout straight hair you’ve always wanted. Up to 4x straighter hair.

6.) Cream Silk Daily Treatment Conditioner - Hair Fall Defense at Php 134.00 per 180 ml. It has moisturizing and nourishing conditioners that increase the elasticity of hair and reinforce weak areas to make it stronger and more flexible for better hair fall defense. Up to 98% less breakage. For more information, check their website.

I had personally tried these two conditioners but I don't use it now. I've switched to Human Nature Strengthening Conditioner in Soothing Aloe.

7.) Dove Daily Hair Vitamin at Php 75.00 for a 6 ml x 6 capsules. BDJ provided me with 2 packs of 6 ml x 6 capsules. It's the newest innovation from Dove which locks in nourishment all day for healthier, damage-free hair like never before. Concentrated infusion with vitamins that locks in nourishment all day. Contains Vitamin E that nourishes dry hair; Botanical extract which helps repair weak hair and Mineral Oil that helps protect hair from damage. It's No rinse, non-greasy and with lingering fragrance. Not that interested with this one since I've tried the Dove Shampoo and it caused me hair fall, a lot of hair fall.

8.) Godiva LicoWhite Whitening Toner at Php 60.00 per 60 ml bottle. Is the whiter way to even-out your skin tone. Moisturizes as it cleanses. It has Licorice Extract, paraben free and safe for continued use for longer lasting whiter skin.

9.) Godiva LicoWhite Whitening Facial Wash at Php 85.00 per 50 ml, provided with 6 ml x 4 sachets samples. Contains Glabridin from licorice which helps brighten skin.

I've never tried Godiva products before and now is my time to try it. I will try the toner first. Hope it will work on my skin.

10.) FS Single Eye Shadow in Pacific Breeze at Php 150.00 per 4g product.

11.) FS Gel Liner in Brown at Php 299.00 per 5 ml pot. This eyeliner is gel-based, soft and rich in definition and with a free brush.

I never had the chance to try any product from Fanny Serrano and I'm not really a fan of it. Perhaps, I can give it a try :D

Another item I got is a PAC (Professional Artist Cosmetics) Gift Certificate - Free Make Over worth P1500 at any PAC counter.

And this helpful booklet with all the list of items inside the box with corresponding prices.

Nice September BDJ box.... I like most of the items inside because it's functional. It's worth the wait and money.

That's my 2nd unboxing experience guys. Till my next box!
