Beauty UK: Eye Prime FX in Beige

Hi guys...

Today, I'll be sharing my first ever eyeshadow primer - Beauty UK: Eye Prime FX (P212.99 sale price) but original price is P250.00 per 9ml tube. This is my first experience on putting eyeshadow primer because I initially wanted to show up my eyeshadow colors more and make it last longer. While purchasing some stuff from Carmen Claire, I browsed upon this primer and immediately bought it without further thinking and reading any article regarding its reviews. Did I regret buying this primer??? Yes and No!!! Here's why...
The packaging: the very usual white and black plastic tube which is not interesting at all.
According to the site, Beauty UK: Eye Prime FX is...
An innovative and practical solution to longer lasting and vibrant eye makeup.
The tinted formula glides on easily and provides a neutral undercoat for your favourite eye shadow!
Enables enhanced longevity for your eye makeup. Presented in a convenient, handbag friendly bottle with an easy to use dip wand applicator.

The tube comes with a dip wand applicator that allows accurate application of the product to the eyes so no more messy fingers.
Swatches: Above picture shows the tinted primer (beige color). Below picture is the blended one.
Swatches: Left side picture shows Urban Decay Ammo Eyeshadow Palette without primer while the right side is with the primer. It shows no difference at all!

What I like about the product:
1. it has a lightweight formula
2. the tinted primer glides on smoothly when applied
3. does not crease nor settle into lines
4. budget friendly price (you get what you paid for)
5. provides longer lasting eyeshadows
6. a little product comes a long way

What I don't like about the product:
1.
dries into a matte finish and sometimes gives me a white cast
2. it takes a few minutes to dry
3. it has a scent that I don't really like
4. the packaging is not interesting at all
5. it did not bring out my eyeshadow colors vibrantly as if having a primer and no primer is the same or perhaps my Urban Decay Ammo Palette is way too pigmented that using a primer isn't necessary at all.
6. only one shade available

Will I repurchase?
No, I would like to try another brand.

My lesson is that never to buy impulsively, read reviews and look for better options. Till my next post!

(Items 1 and 2 were bought at SM Department Store)

7. High-waist Bikini Bottom in Navy Blue Stripes with Red Padded Top at P420.00
(Left side: Original design, but had to repair it and made it into Right side picture: I cut the bottom and made the half into a tube top)
Worn the swimwear top above!
Items 3-7 were bought from a friend with FB page here

Sample Room Experience

Hi guys...

How was your Holy week vacation? Mine was spent with family... waking up late, watching movies and tv, joined the procession and ate "Binignit" a traditional dish (in Central Visayas) with taro, banana and sweet potato that we usually eat on Good Friday.

Moving on with a fresh start, I am sharing my Sample Room experience. Last March, I've ordered from Sample Room an item which I can use for summer and received it 3 days after. I got a 50ml Belo Sun Expert Face Cover SPF40 PA+++ for 90 points + P140.00 shipping fee. I was happy that instead of buying it for P329.75 I only got it for free since I got my 100 points upon registering. How cool was that??? I only paid for the shipping fee.

About Sample Room:
Who wouldn't want to try the product first before buying them?
Sample Room is here to give you that option. And this is our inspiration.

Sample Room is a sampling site that banks on the power of free product sampling. It is an online community that changes your beauty-shopping pattern; and an interactive community where your opinions matter and where all beauty lovers are valued.

you don't need to:
Take a risk at a full-sized product that may not work for you or may give you an allergic reaction
Rely on reviews alone that might not jive with your skin type (as you get to try the product yourself)
Waste money on a product that might not work for you.

you will be able to:
Patch-test, and road-test the product you are interested in purchasing- if the product suits you and works well with your skin
Experience the product, and decide after finishing a sample size if the product is right for you
Read reviews from consumers who have the same skin type as yours
Enjoy your purchase, as it is a well-researched and well-informed purchase. Definitely value for your money!

How it works:
1.      Register
2.      Get free points upon registration
3.      Choose your sample
4.      Checkout
5.      Receive your samples
6.      Post a review at Sample Room
7.      Get points by reviewing, get a new sample to try
8.      Buying of points
Here's what I got: the 50ml sunblock inside the Sample Room cute packaging, a DKNY perfume sample (freebie) and a bath sponge (freebie).
I'm keeping the packaging because it's so cute...
Currently my favorite and I can't go out not wearing it!!!

Sample Room offers skin care, hair care, body care, fragrance, cosmetics, tools, health, slimming, lifestyle and baby products which we can try before we buy the full size ones.

Why I like Sample Room?
