Carmen Claire Mint Gloss in Apple Mint

Hi guys... it has been a very busy week for me and I am happy that next week holidays na.. wanna rest and spend time with my family and I'm excited to join the procession on Good Friday..

So here's a cutie I'm sharing to you - Carmen Claire Mint Gloss in Apple Mint. I am not really into lip glosses and this is my first ever lip gloss. I bought it because it has a cute packaging and it won't hurt my pocket if I'll end up not using it at all. But, fortunately I kinda like this cute minty gloss! It comes in 3 shades: Apple, Ginger and Pepper Mint.

According to Carmen Claire: These little tubes are all you need in a lipgloss, wearable

colors, cute little tube, all with a hint of mint.

NOTE: Mintglosses differ in shade only. All three have the same mint scent.

What I like about the product:

- is quite moisturizing so I don't need to wear lip balm underneath

- it doesn't dry up for 3 hours 

- it keeps my lips supple and soft

- it is non-sticky 

- it is lightweight when worn

- I like its small brush, gets just the perfect amount of product

- it is easy to apply on top of lipstick

- has a lovely minty refreshing scent

- has a minty taste which I really like

- I like the cute and very handy packaging

- affordable for only P175.00 original price (I got mine on sale for P148.99)

What I don't like about the product:

Nothing I can think of.

Will I repurchase? Yes

Carmen Claire Brush Collection

Hello guys... such a very hot weather!!! Summer is here na talaga...

Today, I wanna share another set of brushes which I purchased last December 2014. Carmen Claire Brush Collection - P715.00 but I got it on sale for P517.99 due to a faint scratch on the mirror.

About the brushes: Carmen Claire website

A classic design, quilted all around, just like your favorite evening clutch. Subtle and sexy, it's a beauty secret like no other. Six must-have brushes, for touch ups and makeup looks on the go.

Smaller in size but not in performance. Inside is a beautiful oval mirror, something you won't find in any other brush set. Large enough to get the job done, but still wonderfully elegant.

Each luxurious brush set contains: Powder Brush, white goat hair Angled Blush Brush, white goat hair Blending Brush, white goat hair Eyeshadow Brush, ox tail hair Angled Liner Brush, synthetic hair Brow and Lash Comb.

Enclosed in a brush guards...

The brushes are just medium in sizes, not too small and not too big that can occupy a big space on your kit.

Closer look with the brushes...

Powder Brush - made of white goat hair...very soft and fluffy!!! I've used this in applying my Pressed Powders.

Angled Blush Brush - made of white goat hair...it's soft and just the perfect size, this one is a favorite of mine.. among the brushes it's the most used and abused brush!!

Eyeshadow Brush - made of ox tail hair... it's soft, dense and great for overall eyelid application...

Blending Brush - made of white goat hair.. it's soft, small and fluffy.. it blends my eyeshadows well... 

Brow and Lash Comb - it's the least usable one... the brow comb is so stiff!!! and I prefer to use a spoolie than a comb..

Angled Liner Brush - made of synthetic hair... I haven't use this one as a liner brush but used it instead to fill-in my brows.

What I like about the product:
- very easy to use and picks up product very well
- convenient to bring since it comes in a quilted pouch
- has a built in mirror
- bristles are soft and fluffy (face brushes)
- affordable price (you get 6 essential brushes)

What I don't like about the product:
- face brushes shed while using it for the first time and sheds more after washing
- bristles turned spongy "buhaghag" after washing

Will I repurchase?
No... I want to try other brands! I still prefer my Real Techniques Mini Brush Trio over this one.. Do check out my post here.

I attended an Atomy Seminar last February 25, 2015 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at Cebu Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce (Chung Hua Medical Arts Compound) with my co-employees and friends. The speaker of the Seminar was Ms. Mary Jung - from Atomy Korea. It was nice listening to her speak English though there are times that I find it difficult to get what she said. It was her first time to be a speaker in English language. Very admirable woman, she really did a good job...Hope to see her again, she's really pretty in person and soft spoken.

After the Seminar, I took pictures of the products they sell. Most attendees bought products from them.

Skincare line have 6 System -- Evening Care 4 Sets -- Calming Care 3 Sets for Oily Skin, Dry Skin, Sensitive Skin and Skin Exfoliation and Atomy Men. They also have the Travel Skincare Set, 7 Solutions Gel Mask and Travel Cleansing Kit.

I am currently using the Atomy Travel Skincare Set - a promising product and will have a separate review on it.

I have tried four products from Atomy and I never regretted using it and I will try other products as well... My mother is suffering from Dandruff (a common chronic scalp condition marked by flaking of the skin on your scalp). She tried a lot of anti-dandruff shampoo and other remedies to cure it but unfortunately her dandruff worsen until Atomy Herbal Shampoo came and she began using it to cure her dandruff and I am happy that I heard her say that her dandruff is slowly diminishing...and hopefully will be gone...
