Ellana Pressed Mineral Blush Duo

Let's start the week with positivity so it will end well :P

So today I will be sharing to you my all time favorite blush. I have been in-love with Ellana Minerals Blush in Fulfillment for three years now and by then I had this ardent wish that perhaps in the near future they will put it in a compact type since powder type is a bit messy and retouching is inconvenient with it. 

Finally, my wish was granted char. As I was browsing one of my favorite blogs, I learned that Ellana Minerals are now selling the Ellana Pressed Mineral Blush Duo so I hurriedly check on to their website to be only disappointed that mostly of the blushes were out of stock!!! 

From then on, I eagerly check for re-stock status daily and finally bought the compact last August 19, 2014. I bought three compacts: one for me and the other two are for my friends which also likes Fulfillment blush. They generously gave me a GWP powder blush in Lust.

I got the Obsession / Fulfillment Pressed Mineral Blush Duo at Php 460.00 + Php 40.00 shipping fee (Php 120/3 pax, me and my friends shared with the shipping cost). I bought it at Ellana Online website. I received it after 3 days from payment.

About the product:

The shades I got:

Fulfillment - (right) is a watermelon peach with gold shimmer

Obsession - (left) is a sheer raspberry red

Weight: contains 9g

What I like about the product:

1.) Texture is velvety and smooth 

2.) Staying power is superb

3.) Price is affordable

4.) Weightless and eco-friendly packaging

5.) In a convenient pressed form

6.) Comes with a mirror and a secure magnetic closure

7.) Highly pigmented and has a semi-matte finish

8.) Locally available

9.) A Mineral Make-up - fragrance and paraben free 

What I don't like about the product:

1.) When I first applied  it, product is very powdery and I messed up but I sooner manage to get the desired amount I just needed for my cheeks

2.) Packaging is nice but it easily attracts dirt because of it's cardboard material 

 

Indoor picture - Fulfillment blush on me, gives a natural-looking peachy glow on my cheeks! I can use this blush everyday...

Outdoor picture with my cute son - Obsession blush on me, gives a flattering radiant glow on my cheeks!!! A refreshing pink color!!! I use it whenever I need to brighten up my day....

All in all, I really liked the blush duo and I will definitely repurchase :D

Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser

Hello...

I am sharing to you my one and only primer...  I've been following several blogs since 2011 and stopped for a while when I got married and started our family. When I finally got back to start blogging again, I found out that I'm missing a lot! and I have to be updated with the recent beauty, skin care and hair care products that's why I am introduce to primers only last year hehe... I am using Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser since August 21, 2013 to be exact. I have this habit of putting dates to any products that I'll be using so I can keep track of the expiry and  the longevity it was used up. By doing so, I can determine if I should repurchase or not, if the price is worth the spend. Finally, I repurchased last September 20, 2014.

 

This is my second tube! My first tube is about to be empty soon.. I'm using this as my daily face primer before I apply make-up.

What I like about the product:

-          As primer: when applied on the face creates a baby-smooth skin

-          Creates a perfect canvas so that make-up glides on flawlessly

-     Fragrance free

-     Price is affordable

-          Extends the wear of make-up

-          tube delivers enough products and is hygienic

-          a little product comes a long way

 What I don’t like about the product:

  1.) I honestly think that it doesn't really reduces my pores since I have been
using it more than a year now. Yes, it does seem like your pores has
been reduced when applied but it's only on the surface... when the gel is
gone you're back to your old pores.

  2.) It does prolong life of your make-up on the face but not that long enough

ZA Perfect Fit Concealer in 02

Hello guys!!! I'm back with another post.

 

So here's a review of my current concealer - ZA Perfect Fit Concealer in 02. I bought this at SM City Cebu at Php 276.00, got a 20% discount from the original price of Php 345.00. I really love to buy during SALE period :D

As per label - ZA Perfect Fit Concealer provides perfect coverage powder that covers imperfections such as dark circles, spots and acne marks. It contains collagen, vitamin E and moisturizing ingredient hyaluronic acid. Fits skin perfectly to minimize unevenness and fading. A tube contains 9g of product with three shades available: 01 for fair, 02 for medium and 03 for dark. I chose 02 Medium shade since fair is too light for my skin tone and it appears light beige with neutral undertone to me.

What I like about the product:

1. it has a pigmented formula
2. covers uneven skintone, dark under eye circles, visible pores and freckles
3. feels light when applied on the face
4. it has an easy to spread texture
5. dries into a semi-matte finish
6. does not crease nor settle into lines
7. it has no fragrance
8. very handy to bring with you anywhere you go
9. it has an easy to squeeze and hygienic tube
10. budget friendly

What I don't like about the product:
1. though the shade I got is perfectly fine, ZA concealer has only 3 shades available
2. availability of stocks and store outlets in Cebu is limited (I went to SM Cebu City to buy the 12-in-1 BB cream, unfortunately they don't have stocks)
