Human Nature - 100% Natural Safe Block

I'm back with another post to share with you. I'm an avid fanatic of 100% natural products. As much as I could I like to use products that is from natural ingredients. It's my way of taking care of my skin and helping mother Earth :D

I've tried some products that are made of natural ingredients like Ellana Minerals, Carmen Claire Cosmetics, My Choice, Happy Skin, Atomy, The Face Shop, The Body Shop, Yves Rocher, Ecotools, Nekkid and Human Nature. So, today I'll be sharing my 100% Natural Safe Block review. By the way it's the Philippines' First 100% Natural Suncreen that blocks 93% of all skin-burning UVB rays and armors skin against aging UVA rays with SPF 15 PA+++. I have been using this since April 2015, my travel friendly sunscreen.

SAFEBLOCK is classified water resistant – but make sure you SAFEBLOCK right! All water-resistant sunscreens still need reapplication because the SPF drops after a certain amount of time your skin is exposed to water. Clinical tests show that SAFEBLOCK’s SPF15 may drop to SPF13 after 80 minutes of swimming.

Remove all jewelry before applying SAFEBLOCK. To ensure that you enjoy optimal sun protection, reapply after swimming or sweating, after toweling, or as needed.

What I like about HN 100% Natural Safe Block:

it's made from 100% natural ingredients

its water resistant

blocks 93% of all skin-burning UVB rays

has SPF 15 PA+++ that protects skin against aging UVA rays
it smells really good 

feels light on the skin and doesn't feel greasy

doesn't break me out

cares for our coral reefs with only all-good, sea-safe natural ingredients used

locally made 

cruelty-free and biodegradable plastic container

expiry dates are clearly written on the label

affordable price of P249.75/50g and P549.75/200g (they still have a special price offer of P299.75/200g in their website but I don't know till when is the offer last)

What I don't like about HN 100% Natural Safe Block:

has a sticky formula when first applied but becomes watery as I reapplied and easily falls out of the bottle

gives me a white cast

Will I repurchase?

Definitely yes...

Nekkid Pure Eau De Parfum

Hello guys!

Today, I will be sharing to you my current favorite scent which I bring to work from Monday-Friday and used twice daily. Nekkid Pure Eau De Parfum at P350.00 per 30ml bottle. 

Nekkid is a local brand that manufactures all-natural line of Skincare, Scrub, Soap, Mask, Body Butter & Lotion, Dry Oil, Shower Gel, Cleanser, Balm and Gift Sets products. Founded by Sabs Hernandez - a makeup artist and beauty blogger of The Makeup Maven. Nekkid aims to give us the perfect, glowing skin with their skin care made from natural ingredients. I'm a certified organic fan so I'm eying on other Nekkid products to try like the Body butters and soaps. 

Nekkid Website:

NEKKID "PURE" is a floral green fragrance for women. Top notes are orange, galbanum and lemon, heart notes are honeysuckle, jasmine and lily-of-the-valley, base notes are amber, musk, oakmoss and brazilian rosewood.

This scent is clean, lovely, subtle and no-way overpowering. Perfect to spritz on after a relaxing shower or bath. The citrus is much more intensive than other notes but it is not a very sharp citrus. Every note come in a very suave, smooth and subtle way. It smells a little bit soap-y to some people. 

It's not the same scent or projection but everytime our clients wear this scent, it reminds them of Clean Provence (so we were told). So if you like Clean, i bet you will like this fragrance too.

TOP NOTES: Orange, Galbanum, and Lemon
HEART NOTES: Honeysuckle, Jasmine, and Lilly of the Valley
BASE NOTES: Amber, Musk, Oakmoss, and Rosewood

Comes in a very simple, light and easy to spritz packaging. Other scents are Serene, Tender and Joy.

What I like about Nekkid Pure EDP:

It smells expensive :)

It smells clean and not overpowering

Simple packaging and handy to bring

Staying power of 4 hours

Affordable price: P350.00/30ml bottle

What I don't like about Nekkid Pure EDP:

Nothing :)

Will I repurchase?

Definitely yes!!! I wanna try also " Tender" - their bestseller.

Ecotools: Mini Essentials Set

I really can't get enough of makeup brushes specially when they are soft and in travel sized form. I've got another set of brushes here which I claim to be my favorite brand among the brushes I've tried so far. I bought these cuties at Kalm Cosmetics for P530.00 + P75.00 shipping fee.

The EcoTools® Mini Essentials Set is your on-the-go necessity. You can easily shade, finish and define with these 3 mini brushes! Start with the full powder brush to create a flawless base with pressed or mineral powder. Use the eye shading brush to apply shadow along eyelid and crease and highlight brow bone. Add final definition with the angled liner brush by using the ultra-flat angled tip to line your eye with cream liner or shadow.

The brushes are made soft, cruelty-free bristles, have recycled aluminum ferrules and sleek bamboo handles. The eco packaging is made from post-costumer recycled paper and recyclable PET.

The set is consists of a Full Powder Brush, an Eye Shading Brush and the Angled Liner Brush. I've used all of them since I got them and hey all of them are my favorite. 

I use the Full Powder Brush for applying powder foundation, pressed powder and blush. The bristles are super soft and just the perfect size for me.

I use the Eye Shading Brush for applying eyeshadow. I like that it's fluffy yet stiff and gets just the right amount of powder.

Lastly, the Angled Liner Brush for my eyebrows.  I haven't used it yet as eyeliner since I need more time to practice the skills to achieve the perfect wing.

What I like about the brushes:
Very easy to use
Very convenient to bring anywhere I go
Very soft  bristles yet it doesn't fall out
Sleek and durable bamboo handles
Uses recycled aluminum ferrules
It’s 100% cruelty free 
Price??? you get what you paid for...

What I don't like about the brushes:
NOTHING

Will I repurchase?

Definitely yes and I wanna try the other sets: 5 Piece Mineral Set and 6 Piece Essential Eye Set and the Eye Enhancing Duo Set :D
