Human Nature 100% Natural Bug Shield Mosquito Repellent

I will be sharing to you our very reliable Mosquito repellent. This is mainly use by my son who is now two years old. He has been using it since he was still months old. I trusted this product because it is 100% made of natural ingredients which is suitable for my son's sensitive skin. Now, my husband and I are using it also to prevent us from Dengue infection.

I myself has been a victim of Dengue way back my second year High School days. During that time, for a week, I came in and out of the hospital to do blood test monitoring and take medicines. Severe dengue (previously known as dengue haemorrhagic fever) was first recognized in the 1950s during dengue epidemics in the Philippines and Thailand. Today it affects Asian and Latin American countries and has become a leading cause of hospitalization and death among children and adults in these regions.

Sad to say --- Dengue is everywhere now and will affect anyone!!!

Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, Glycine soja (soy bean) oil, Cymbopogon winterianus (citronella) essential oil, Citrus sinensis (orange) essential oil, Eucalyptus globulus (eucalyptus) essential oil, glyceryl caprylate (coconut, palm and glycerin derived) 

What can these ingredients do for us???

Sunflower Seed Oil - protects skin from infection, effectively moisturizes, has naturally rich Vitamins A, C, D and E

Soy Bean Oil - helps replenish dry, damaged, or dyed hair, adds softness and a brilliant shine, maintain hair's natural moisture balance

Citronella Essential Oil - contains antibacterial and antiseptic properties, naturally provides good deodorizing properties, repels Aedes Aegypti type mosquitoes that can cause Yellow Fever

Orange Essential Oil - provides antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties for the skin, provides mood lifting effects in aromatherapy, helps cure and prevent acne

HOW TO USE: 

Apply 2-3 pumps to the palm of your hand and rub onto exposed skin. Reapply every 2-4 hours, depending on physical activity and sweating.

 

It looks like above... the oil is transparent but has a slight greenish color which separates...I guess Human Nature didn't use any binder for the product that's why the separation is very visible.

What I don't like about the product:

There's a slight greasy feel

Citronella scent is so obvious
